In this workshop we will learn about surveillance, cryptography, security and privacy. We will discuss the threats we face, learn about tools and methods to control our information online, and how to protect ourselves and our community.
The workshop will be facilitated by Yuval Adam and Noam Rotem.
Yuval Adam is an open code activist and one of the founders of the cryptoparty movement in the country.
Noam Rotem is a hacker and human rights activist, who is active in raising awareness about the importance of protecting private information online.
We suggest bringing a laptop or mobile phone to the workshop, as there will be practical exercises.
The workshop is for anyone interested, ages 16-100. Basic computer and smartphone proficiency is required.
